Terms of service
Effective September 3, 2026
What this is
hardwareintern.com generates interview preparation from job postings: curricula, practice questions, graded answers, mock interviews, and a readiness score. By creating an account or buying anything, you agree to these terms.
What the AI content is, and is not
Questions, lessons, feedback and interviewer turns are generated by AI models, and scores are computed from your answers. They are prepared with care and they can still be wrong — a generated answer key is not a textbook, and a readiness number is an estimate, not a promise. We do not guarantee interview outcomes, offers, or employment. Companies named in postings or practice content are not affiliated with us and do not endorse this product.
Your account
- You need to be able to form a contract (in most places, 16+ for this kind of service) and to give us a working email.
- You’re responsible for what happens under your sign-in. One account per person.
- Don’t abuse the service: no scraping the question bank, reselling generated content as a dataset, probing other users’ data, or automating requests to burn our model budget.
Payments
- Payments run through Stripe. We never see your card number.
- Track credits are one-time purchases and never expire. The Pro subscription renews monthly until you cancel; cancelling keeps your access until the end of the paid period.
- Refunds are covered by the refund policy, which is part of these terms.
Your content and ours
- Yours stays yours. Your answers, your resume, and your outcomes belong to you. You give us permission to process them — including sending them to our AI providers — solely to run the product for you.
- The platform, the taxonomy, and generated course content are ours. Use them for your own preparation, not for building a competing question bank.
Liability
The service is provided as-is. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim is capped at what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect damages — including a missed offer, which no prep tool can honestly insure against.
Ending things, and changes
- You can delete your account by writing to us; we can suspend accounts that break these terms, with unused paid credits refunded unless the abuse was the paid feature.
- If these terms change materially, we’ll email account holders before the change takes effect. The date above always reflects the current text.
